Our business is built on great customer service. We are always looking for great people to add to our scaffolding team. We are huge believers in developing potential through training and experience, so that our scaffolders are among the best in the industry.

But it’s not for everyone.

Here are some things to consider:

Are you physically fit and healthy? It’s a demanding job.
And looking for a physical job? It can be tough at times.
Do you love working outdoors? In all weathers?
Does working at heights not bother you? Not everybody does!
Do you enjoy working in a team? Respect and being polite go a long way.
Are you reliable, hardworking and determined? See above!
Are you willing to learn new skills and work towards qualifications? It’s a career too.

If you can say ‘Yes’ to these questions, have you considered working in the scaffolding industry?

It will be a varied, interesting and rewarding journey, during which you will:

Work in the yard, loading and unloading, learning all the basics.
You will also work to gain your CSCS Card.
Then, once you’re ready, you’ll be out on site, with support and a mentor.
You’ll learn basic scaffolding, manual handling, and vital health and safety practices.

As knowledge and confidence increases, you can work towards becoming a Qualified Scaffolder:

This takes between 2 to 4 years.
You will attend a Construction Training Centre to gain your Part 1 and 2 Qualifications.
Finally, after a formal assessment, you’ll be a Qualified Scaffolder.
